Digital Peak Flow metre that shows the value in the clear display directly after exhalation.
To view reductions in respiratory function in the event of constricted airways, for example, the airflow is measured in brief, vigorous exhalation to give what is known as the peak flow value (PEF). This value is then compared with standard tables to identify any discrepancies.
