Easy to use spectrometer which shows spectra and wavelengths directly on the computer screen.
Allow the light from e.g. a bulb, fluorescent tube, laser pointer or the sun to enter the fibre probe. The spectrometer analyses the light and sends the information to the computer via USB.
On screen, you can see both the spectrum and a diagram showing the light intensity for the wavelengths 360 - 940 nm.
The image on screen can be frozen (hold function), and all values (wavelength and intensity) can be exported to a text file which can easily be opened in Excel, for example.
This provides the opportunity to easily compare intensities from various experiments.
