The PASCObot Gripper Accessory, along with two servo motors sold separately, provides controllable grip and lift functionality to the PASCObot. One servo motor actuates two curved arms for gripping objects, while the second servo lifts and lowers the gripping arms with object in tow. Both servo motors are connect to, and controlled by, PASCO's control.Node (also sold separately). Rubber bands can be added to the gripper arms to introduce additional friction and resistance when gripping and lifting objects. The accessory mounts natively to the top of the PASCObot making its connection quick and easy for students.
