Magnets accelerate balls to higher and higher speeds.
A ball is rolled slowly on a track towards a strong magnet. The ball accelerates and in the collision, a balls is released on the other side of the magnet. Ball two gets the same speed as the first ball's high speed prior to the crash. This is repeated three more times so that the last ball leaves the track at a very high speed.
