You will clearly feel the remarkable forces from the gyroscopic effect.

When the wheel spins the gyroscopic effect makes the wheel axle want to maintain its direction. If you change the wheel axle's direction by inclining the wheel it will be pulled sideways. If you then stand on a rotatable plate (art.no: 50087) you will spin.
Everything is based on preserving the angular momentum and the experiment leads, for example, on to discussions about the gyroscope and gyro compass.
