Build your own buckminsterfullerene.
You can build a complete Buckminsterfullerene with 60 carbon atoms with the help of the detailed assembly instructions. Fullerene was discovered in laboratory tests as late as 1985. Nowadays we know that it is a naturally occurring form of pure carbon. It can be found in soot, for example.
Compare the structure of the fullerene with the graphite (art.no: 30118) and the diamond (art. no.: 30121).
Make: Molymod.
Number of parts: 60 carbon atoms (5 holes) and 100 bindings.
Bead diameter: 23 mm.
Manual (English) included.
