This charger has room for four dry cell batteries or two 9V batteries. You can choose whether the batteries are to be discharged before recharging. Each battery is then charged individually, and charging is terminated when each battery is fully charged. The display shows the charging status but also if a battery is faulty. The charger also has a USB port for charging a mobile phone, for example.
