This function generator can be used with a speaker to hear how the tone is dependent on amplitude and frequency, with a vibrator and a cord for studying standing waves or as a signal source for examining circuits, computers and other equipment.
Besides the five standard waveforms, for which quick select buttons are provided, there’s a library of a further 45 waveforms, and you also have the option of creating your own waveforms that can be saved. Frequency and amplitude are specified precisely using the number keys, or you can adjust them easily using the knob. The waveform and values are shown in the display.
The output signal can also be controlled via modulation, sweep or burst.
