The XL model is around twice as wide and high as the basic model.
The SoundEar II Industry XL is easy to use. Hang it on the wall, connect the mains adapter to the wall socket and the SoundEar II Industry XL is ready to use. You can easily select an alarm level from 40 dB to 115 dB in 16 different steps with a control on the bottom. The green ear protectors light up as long as the sound level is below the alarm level. If the sound level reaches 5 dB below the selected alarm level, the yellow ear protectors light up, and when it is exceeded the red ear protectors flash.
There is also an input for an external microphone underneath. The SoundEar II Industry XL has IP class 42, which means that it has some moisture tolerance.
