Hang the SoundEar on the wall, connect the adapter to the wall socket and it's ready to use. The green outer contour is lit up as long as the noise level is under alarm level. The yellow inner contour lights up if the noise level starts to approach the set alarm level, and the centre of the ear lights up red if the alarm level is exceeded.
The SoundEar 300 has other refinements such as a digital display, adjustable alarm levels (day/night), logging of readings, software display and calculation of readings, analogue outputs with selectable output signals, etc.
All settings are defined in the easy to use software and copied to the SoundEar 300 via a USB cable or USB drive. Some settings can be defined directly on the front of the SoundEar 300.

Adjustable alarm levels, 30 - 120 dB, for all three signal colours (day/night). Logging of readings in the internal memory (16 MB, 5-90 days) or to a USB drive. The software shows line diagrams of readings in real time or from saved measurement series. Saved measurement series on the computer can also be opened easily in software such as Excel.
