Product description

Study waves in water and see how they reflect, what happens when they meet one another and how the wavelength is dependent on the depth of the water.

A small, compact wave motion machine with lots of options. Choose the straight dipper and see how the waves are reflected against a barrier or break when they reach shallow water, or how a column influences the shape of the wave. Perform new experiments with the one-point dipper, or switch to the two-point dipper to study interference patterns.
An LED lamp is located beneath the tank that projects an image onto the lid above the tank.
The dipper and lamp frequencies are adjusted individually. It is also possible to select automatic synchronisation of the lamp frequency with the dipper frequency. This gives you the option of making the waves in the image stand still or move slowly.

Make: Lascells LA50-600.
Contents: Tank 12x12 cm, dippers (one and two-point and straight), metal shields (2 x L-shaped and one concave/convex), plastic panels for refraction (cut obliquely, convex and concave).
Power supply: 12 V from 230 V adapter supplied.
Dimensions:17x22x14 cm.
Weight: 1.1 kg.
Manual (English) included.
