Product description
Simple demonstration model which clearly shows how a wave moves.
When you crank, an axle rotates which raises and lowers 24 rods. Each rod has a white marker on top, and their movements generate a clear, educational lateral wave - a transversal wave (e.g. light).
The eight rods on the left are added on and also show how a longitudinal wave (e.g. sound) propagates itself. At the crank is a graduated arc so that angles of rotation can be read. This model also provides inspiration for discussions on e.g. wavelength, amplitude, velocity and frequency.
Material: Plastic.
Dimensions: 46x30x10 cm.
Weight: 800 g.
