The AC element and DC element can be used simultaneously, and the current intensity and voltage are shown for both.
The DC element has automatic current limitation. You choose a max current (0-5A), which is not exceeded even in the event of a pure short-circuit. The DC is stabilised. The AC is set using a basic and fine adjusting knob. The AC undergoes basic stabilisation. The fixed output of 6.3 V is used for optical lamps, for example.
